Ramona & Ruth was created to help you connect with those you love. We believe that a handwritten note can make all the difference in someone’s day and it brings us great joy to know that our cards can serve as a vessel to help you express a special message to someone that’s dear to you. Ramona & Ruth was launched in 2009 under the creative direction of Kim Burks. When a century-old letterpress was delivered to Kim’s doorstep, she began tinkering with it in every spare moment she had, teaching herself the art of letterpress.

The moment that everything fell into place and she pressed her very first illustration of a little coffee cup onto the cotton paper, she knew this was meant to be. Since her very first collection, Kim has focused on clean, refined designs that are warmed up with delicate, soft finishes. This warm simplicity is the unique perspective that we bring to the stationery world. Our paper goods are carefully and intentionally designed, eliminating anything unnecessary so the necessary can speak.
